CDL Job Filters
What are CDL job filters and how can I use them?
CDL filters are used to describe a job, company, equipment or anything related to the industry of commercial driving to distinguish it or "filter" it from something else. The filter is the general category that narrows down eligibility and is usually broken down into more detailed specifics or sub-filters so you can more easily compare and understand similar items.

For example: Pay is a filter that has many sub-filters like "hourly", "salary", "cents per mile (cpm)", "miles plus guarantee", "breakdown", "personal time off (pto)", "sick leave", "annual leave", "safety bonus", "sign on bonus", "special pay", "hazard pay", "combat pay", "tax free", "contract", "average", "top %", etc.
It is very important to understand filters and their different meanings to avoid confusion and disappointment.
A very useful CDL-USA coaching module is the Filters Module.
It's a good idea to review it before applying for any CDL job.
